I am claustrophobic and suffer from a desire to see things free.I think and write non-linearly.These photos are reflective of the time India revoked Article 370, and imposed a stringent phone and internet connectivity blackout. The entire population was caged inside their houses under a blanket curfew. I returned in search of my home on 12th August 2019 with not a single message from my parents for endless days altogether. This was written in a closed room with claustrophobia-induced panic attacks.Hiraeth (n) is a Welsh word for longing or nostalgia for a home that no longer exists.
