On 20th June 2023, Aura Readers Club programs resumed with its latest edition – Aura Readers Club Kerala. After a brief sabbatical, the popular monthly review, feedback and discussion programme was back. This time, four speakers – Shakira Abdul Kader, ESL Coach and Lecturer, Simi K Salim, PhD Researcher, Dilana, MA Student and Media Researcher and Dr Shahida AT, Asst Professor took part and discussed the June 2023 issue of Aura. The content, style, design and website were all discussed; many of the speakers offered constructive criticism on how to improve certain aspects of the magazine, while the content was also discussed for its timely and relevant social interventions, such as the cover story, women in politics, or the book reviews of the current issue.

Rahamathunnissa A (Chief Editor), Shayma S (Sub Editor), Afra Shihab (State Council Member, GIO Kerala) addressed the programme, while it was ably moderated by Azza from Al Jamia Santhapuram, and the recitation of the Quran was done by Huda Abdul Ghafour. In her presidential address, the Chief Editor highlighted the need for magazines such as Aura to ensure that the voices of the deliberately silenced and oppressed find a place to speak, as well as the inclusive and diverse lineup of Aura’s writers and the team.
