I am extremely delighted to learn that ‘Aura’ is bringing out a ‘special print edition’ in May 2023, on the occasion of the completion of its two years as a ‘monthly e-magazine’ for women. The 25 issues of the magazine that have come out so far speak volumes about the significant journey the magazine has made in the past two years, in line with its esteemed motto ‘Reviving Feminine Strength’. May the upcoming special number add to the all-round ‘Aura’ of women, the fifty percent of the society, and contribute immensely to reinstating the ‘dignity of women’ as equal partners with men, as originally intended by God the Creator. I look forward to receiving updates on the fresh issue of Aura every month. It is practically the only serious English-language women’s magazine in India. In contrast to the familiar women’s glossies, Aura does not commodify women as a product. It engages a thinking reader and brings together a diversity of authors. I particularly like that Aura includes writings of new and experienced authors. One gets to read voices and opinions from the margins which usually do not find space even in alternative media. Aura is mentoring several generations of opinion makers. I wish it all the success in future while the Aura team celebrates all their achievements so far
