The world still seemed
Full of options back then
I could see myself
Stepping on new galaxies
Even feel the breeze
Blowing out my hair
As I walked on a bridge
Made of stars
The air was always charged
With the magic of my heart
And I was made of dreams
But now the world gets
Smaller with each passing day
Like it’s closing in on me
With every exam that goes by
I lose a little of my magic
And with each day of memorization
I forget how to dream
Life seems restricted now
The four options
Of the multiple-choice questions.
