The colours are vibrant
Days are pleasant
People are excited
A picture perfect scene

At the second glance, a deeper look
The world is imperfect
Wavering hearts
Gripping desires
A path that leads you astray

When given a choice
What should I choose?
Oh heart! You are ever confusing
A moment you want to be a saint
The next, you desire the sins

So I look even further
Beyond the high stars
Beyond the deep sea
Searching for the truth
The purpose of existence

Then truth the hits
The world is just a test
To pass it, I should be modest
Focus on the morals
